Post-doctorate
Postdoctorate consists in a probation offered by the Postgraduate Program in Literature from Federal University of Espírito Santo (UFES) for those who carry the title of doctor in Literature or similar fields.
The solicitation of Postdoctorate Probation should be sent by the interested party to the Coordination of PPGL, along with the following documents:
I. a letter addressed to the Coordination of PPGL with a Postdoctorate Probation solicitation.
II. a research project in Literature to be developed in the Program;
III. a work plan to be developed during Postdoctorate period;
IV. the candidate’s curriculum vitae in Lattes Platform;
V. a letter from one of PPGL’s permanent teachers accepting to supervision the proposed work plan;
VI. the supervisor’s curriculum vitae in Lattes Platform.

Special student
Special Students are master´s and doctoral prospective candidates who have not been admitted to a degree program but who are taking degree-credit courses in order to qualify for future admissions, to improve professional qualifications, to transfer credits, or for personal interest in the area of study. The selection process for Special Students (MA and PhD) is held biannually, usually one to two months before the beginning of term, with classes starting in March and August.
